Welcome to Utah Taiko's first ever workshop right here in Sanpete County, Utah, FREE OF CHARGE!

Taiko is a fascinating drumming performance art stemming from the culture and traditions of Japan. It involves music, movement, energy, teamwork, tons of fun and so much more! This workshop is designed to give you an introduction to this fascinating discipline and give you a taste of what studying taiko is all about.

TIME:     5:00-6:30 PM

CONTENT:      Learn basic strike technique, kata (choreography), and kuchishouga (vocalizations) and then put it all together as we create and play our very own taiko composition. 

NOTES

Come dressed comfortably (sport clothes are best) and ready for a workout!

Age Restriction: This workshop is open to anyone ages 7 - 99! Children 7-12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
