Are you ready to dive into the world of Taiko drumming? This 18-week course is the perfect introduction for beginners ages 8 to 99! (Students aged 8 and up are welcome with an accompanying adult or parent.) If you're looking to boost your personal fitness, find a new outlet for stress relief, and simply connect with others in a fun and dynamic environment. Your first week is FREE OF CHARGE with absolutely no obligation.
In this course, you'll learn the fundamental techniques (kata) and choreography of Taiko drumming. We'll explore the rich history and philosophy behind this ancient art form while also mastering a complete song together. Each session will begin with a quick interval training (tabata) and yoga session to prepare our bodies and minds for taiko.
