Course Contract

UTAIKO Course Contract

Are you a minor?
yes
no

Course Options:

  • Fall and Spring Semesters consist of a minimum of 18 sessions (approx. 5 months)

  • Bi-monthly courses include 9 sessions per semester

  • Summer Session includes 8 weekly sessions (or 4 sessions for bi-monthly format)

Lesson Length:

Standard weekly sessions: 85 minutes

Bi-monthly sessions: 3 hours

Course Fees:

  • Fall or Spring Semester: $300 per student

  • Summer Session: $150 per student

  • Fees are payable in monthly installments of $50

*Students commit to the full course term and agree to complete all payments regardless of attendance

Continuing Enrollment:

After the semester ends, enrollment continues automatically on a month-to-month basis at $50/month until canceled in writing. A minimum of one month notice is required for cancellation of continuing enrollment.

Students who continue semester to semester actually benefit from 3 bonus months of Taiko each year,

i.e. Spring semester: $300, Summer: $150, Fall $300 = $750 in 1 year. Continuing enrollment is $50 per month x 12 months = $600

So you save $150 per year when continuing your enrollment.

Flexible Attendance:

  • Students are registered for one official “home class,” which reserves their guaranteed weekly time slot.

  • Students are welcome to attend alternate sessions during the week at no additional charge if space allows.

  • Priority for open slots is always given to students registered in that specific class.

  • Bonus classes and extra sessions are often offered throughout the semester and are open to all active students.

Payment Terms:

Monthly payments are due by the 5th of each month. Invoices are sent by the 1st of each month unless paid in full in advance.

Accepted Payment Methods:

Venmo, PayPal, check, cash, Visa, and MasterCard (see invoice for details).
