About the event
Ready to try your hand at TAIKO? Week 1 is a FREE, no-obligation workshop. Try taiko, meet the team, and see if it’s a fit. If you choose to continue, the course runs weekly on Tuesday & Friday, same time each week Jan–June.
What you’ll learn
Fundamentals of taiko (safe stance/kata, stick work, timing, and group playing), cultural context, and a complete beginner piece. Each class starts with light tabata/yoga to prep body & mind. You’ll also get QR-linked homework sheets, videos/playlists, and simple at-home practice tips (mirror kata, lap/table rhythms—no drum required).
