About the event
Are you ready to dive into the world of Taiko drumming? This 8-week courses is the perfect introduction for beginners ages 9 to 99! (Students aged 7-13 are welcome with an accompanying adult or parent, students 14-18 can attend on their own with parental consent).
If you already have some experience, you are welcome to join one of our ongoing classes too.
Your first week is FREE OF CHARGE with absolutely no obligation.
In our courses, you'll learn the fundamental techniques (kata) and choreography of Taiko drumming. We'll explore the rich history and philosophy behind this art form while also mastering drills and repertoire. Each session will begin with a quick interval training (tabata) and yoga session to prepare our bodies and minds for taiko.
