Blaine is a powerhouse performer and educator, playing with TaikoProject and UnitOne, teaching at LATI, and leading the taiko program at Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino, CA — the very program he took over from UTE director Rannoch Purcell. One of the ways we do this is through an information night called 'Get To Know Taiko' where we talk about the art form and perform a few pieces. The evening culminates in a workshop for the audience to come on stage and have the experience of playing the taiko themselves!
